We first discovered SoMo on YouTube back in 2013 with his ever so famous song “Ride”.
As you know from our previous post, his self-titled album SoMo is special to us.
We’ve been waiting for his new album to be released, and we were so excited to finally hear it for the first time last week.
The album titled “My Life II” is a sequel to his first album “My Life”.
It’s an amazing R&B album.

We found it to be more catchy & rhythmic than his previous album, and definitely still as sexy !
Not as many slow jams, here you’ll just feel like moving to the awesome beats all along. Listen to “Why Wait”, “Bad Chick” or “On & on”, and you’ll find yourself dancing on your chair.
You will also hear a few of his signature sexy slow jams, like “Make up sex”, “Fallin’ up” or “You can buy everything”.
There is also a track featuring Trey Songz “Hide & Freak”, a song about the naughty version of the game hide-and-seek.
Special mention to our favorite so far.. “Why wait”
As for the slow jams, we love “Fallin’ up”
We heard in the past some critics say that while they are good, SoMo’s songs might be lacking a bit of personality.
Well definitely with this album, he’s established his style, and he is a real R&B star !
